Membership Requirements
Kappa Alpha Lambda performs Membership Intake on a Sponsorship and Invitation-only basis. Those ladies interested in pursuing Membership are encouraged to submit an Application and Letter of Interest, after which you will be contacted by a Prospective Member Liaison.

If you are interested in starting an expansion group in your area, please contact the Membership Committee.

Any woman interested in Kappa Alpha Lambda must:
Be of legal age, and registered, to vote.
Have completed a secondary (high-school) education program.
Be a contributing member of her community.
Exemplify good character, intelligence, and a professional demeanor.
A well-demonstrated leader.
Willing to commit to a Membership Education period.
Capable of fulfilling the financial obligations of Membership.
Willing to promote Kappa Alpha Lambda in her community.
For all other requirements for membership, chapter formulation, and Sorority partnership and/or association, please contact the International Directorate at the Grand chapter .
