It is my pleasure to address you through this message one again! A great deal of change has kept Kappa moving swiftly forward and preparing for her next opportunity.
This year, Kappa Alpha Lambda celebrates our upcoming milestone Founder's Day by gearing up to move swiftly & consistently, as we continue to fulfill our Mission of increasing positive visibility.
In the past few months, we've worked to fulfill this Mission through consistent service, growth and expansion, and a more dynamic web presence.
As of August 1st, Kappa Alpha Lambda became the first LGBT organization to develop a web broadcast network, courtesy of YouTube! Appropriately coined KAPPA-TV, the site is designed to keep Prospective Members, friends, and partners up to date on Kappa's moves and initiatives.
The beginning of August also marked the launch of Kappa's National blog, a dynamic tool for fostering direct communication with the Sorority.
Sorority Members are also gearing up for our Inaugural Sorority Conference. Sorors from across the country will arrive as Sisters and depart as friends. It's going to be a wonderful experience! If you're in the Philadelphia area, look out for information about our public events.
With so many upcoming projects, there'll be much to share with you in the coming months! We look forward to keeping you connected and informed!
Sincerely,
K.E. Banks
National President
