KAPPA Celebrates 3 Years of Service

Kappa Alpha Lambda Sorority celebrated its 3rd anniversary on October 19th of this year. The Members, though most separated by distance, chose to reflect on the meaning of Service and Sisterhood in acknowledgement.

Consistently progressing as an organization, KAL recently publicized their 2007 FOCUS:

"Perpetual EXCELLENCE: Expanding to Meet the Needs of Our Community"

and began preparing for the exciting year of work ahead.

Along with the new look of the Grand Chapter website, KAL is boasting the development of new programs and a renewed vigor for the business of Sisterhood.

A Taste of Excellence Kappa Alpha Lambda is heading into the culinary arena! To support the Sorority's philanthropic efforts for the upcoming Biennium, the Grand Chapter has commissioned the creation of: A Taste of Excellence, a culturally rich cookbook full of food for the soul. With various Sorors contributing, as well as KAL supporters, the effort promises to be a production of style and class, befitting the character of these Ladies of Distinction.

Expected to become available right before the Holidays next year, A Taste of Excellence will be highly anticipated.

If you would like to submit a recipe for kitchen testing, send an email to tasteofexcellence@kappaalphalambda.org. If approved, you will be given full credit for you recipe, and noted among YIC Community Sponsors.

Don't forget to pre-order your copy next July! A portion of the proceeds will go to KAPPA's Youth Investment Program. The remainder will support the 2009 Scholarship Fund.
