Facet 1: Civil Equality for ALL LGBT Persons
Kappa Alpha Lambda advocates equality for all people in civil, political, and personal affairs. As citizens, each of us is entitled to the right equal protection under the law, and freedom to marry , being included in those rights, should be inherent for all people.
Facet 2: Diversity & Tolerance Education
The Sorority advocates a proactive program to assist education systems, nationally & internationally, to prepare students for healthy participation in a global society, and encouraging respect for all.
Facet 3: Health Awareness
Holistic health, a vital component in the success of every individual, is a particular target for the Sorority. Kappa Alpha Lambda implements plans that encourage the public to integrate healthy actions into the lifestyles, thereby comprehensively improving an individual's quality of life.
Facet 4: Economic Empowerment
In recognition of the role that financial condition plays in the marginalization of many, Kappa strives to create & maintain programming that encourages financial literacy.
Facet 5: Leadership Training & Development
In the effort to effect change on major global stages in the coming years, Kappa Alpha Lambda has developed the KAPPA Academy on Leadership, designed to prepare current & future Members of the Sorority to bear the responsibilities of servant leadership, not only within the Soorrity, but also in the global community.
