DID YOU KNOW?
1.  When was your organization founded?
Kappa Alpha Lambda was founded October 19th, 2003.

2. What are your Sorority's colors?
The colors of KAL are pink, black, and pearl.

3. What is your Sorority's flower?
Kappa Alpha Lambda has two official flowers. They are the Lotus and the Orchid.

4. Does your Sorority have a mascot?
Yes, Kappa has two animal mascots. Our most recognizable is the white bunny.

5.  Is Kappa Alpha Lambda bound to any other Fraternal Organization?
No, KAL is not constitutionally affiliated with any other fraternal organization.  However, we maintain an inter-fraternal affiliation with Alpha Lambda Zeta Fraternity, Incorporated.

6. Is Kappa Alpha Lambda a collegiate Sorority?
No. Though we will be expanding to include collegiate chapters, KAL is a comprehensive social service Sorority, including professional women from all walks of life.

7. Is KAL strictly a Lesbian Sorority?
Although Kappa Alpha Lambda is an advocacy group for the rights of all women, KAL is a Lesbian-oriented Sorority.

8. Are members of KAL allowed to pursue membership in other organizations?
Members of Kappa Alpha Lambda can freely pursue membership in any other Sorority of their choice, provided their Membership in that organization does not interfere with their commitment to the Mission of Kappa Alpha Lambda.
