Expansion Initiative

DID YOU KNOW?
Kappa Alpha Lambda is in the process of expanding and extending the benefits of Membership to Aspiring women across America. Following, Interested ladies will find a description of the KAL Expansion Procedure, timeline, and prerequisites concerning Interest Groups.
The method used to fulfill this Initiative will be Expansion Groups, called colonies, which consist of a group of young women in an area who have an expressed interest in the Sorority, and a desire to establish a Colony in their area.
Prerequisites for KAL Expansion in an area are as follows:
1. A minimum of 5 Interested ladies willing to work toward the creation of a Colony.
2. Submission of Individual Applications of Interest, as well as a group Expansion Application, including an Interest Group roster.
3. Regular contact with a Grand Chapter Official, to discuss the nuances of becoming an approved Colony.
4. Acceptance of Interested ladies into the Sorority's New Member Education Program.
5. Full and proper completion of the Expansion Process Packet.
ALL other information concerning the Expansion Procedure will be given upon further review of the Interest Group by the Grand chapter.
